Pineapple and Ginger Smoothie

Serves 2

Time: 10 minutes prep, 10 minutes cooking 

 

1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced

½ cup low-fat plain yogurt

1 cup pineapple juice

⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ cup ice (if using fresh pineapple)

 

 

1.              Combine the pineapple, ginger, yogurt, pineapple juice, cinnamon, and ice (if using fresh pineapple) in the carafe of your Martha Stewart 50-ounce blender and secure the lid. 

 

2.              Turn the selector dial to choose Smoothie mode, then press to start. Once the blender has stopped, serve the smoothies immediately.
